Rising Canadian singer TEHYA is continuing her ascent with a mesmeric new single, “Love Overdose”. The indie pop piece follows the success of her songs “It’s You” and “Burn For Me“.
The 19-year-old Toronto artist has been reeling in new fans with every release. And “Love Overdose” is such a lovely and relatable song. On it, TEHYA sings about a friendship that got ruined when a close friend confessed their feelings.
“After we stopped talking, I found myself writing this song from their perspective,” she shares. “However, this is a feeling I’ve felt for other friends as well. To me, this song is about the overwhelming love I feel for my friends, and how easily that line between friendship and something more can become blurred.“
