Nasty C Wins Best Hip Hop Album At SAMA32 For Independent Masterpiece “Free”. Nasty C has added another major trophy to his growing collection, taking home the Best Hip Hop Album award at the 32nd South African Music Awards for his acclaimed 2025 project, Free.
The victory, announced at the SAMA32 ceremony at Sun City Superbowl, carries particular weight because of what the album represents in the rapper’s career. Released on September 12, 2025, through his own Tall Racks Records imprint, Free marked Nasty C’s first fully independent studio album after he departed from Def Jam.
